How does the smoke effect work?

The grip hides a small diffuser. Pour 3 to 5 drops of smoke oil into the opening on the grip, let the reservoir soak it up for 5 to 10 minutes, then switch on the blade and flip the smoke switch. The vapour comes out at the base of the blade and glides along the light for 2 to 3 minutes non-stop per fill.

How do I switch on the blade and change colour?

Long-press the button to turn the light on or off, short-press to move to the next mode (8 modes, including a rainbow gradient). The smoke only works when the blade is lit.

How long does the battery last and how do I charge it?

The built-in 500 mAh battery charges in 30 to 40 minutes through the USB-C port in the pommel (cable included, adapter not included). Expect about 10 to 20 minutes of use with smoke, longer with the light alone.

Is smoke oil included?

Yes, a starter bottle comes in the box. Only use a suitable, nicotine-free smoke oil, and don't overfill: too much can clog the smoke outlet.

Is it dangerous? Does it cut?

No: the blade is acrylic and blunt. It's an accessory for cosplay, decoration and content creation, not a weapon. Recommended for ages 14 and up, with adult supervision for younger users. Do not inhale the vapour, use in a well-ventilated space and do not hit hard objects.

Can I take it to a convention?

That's what it's made for. Just check your event's rules: some conventions restrict long props or indoor smoke effects.
